5th Feb - Bristol Storytelling Festival - Old Vic Theatre, Bristol, c 8.30 - 11pm , Storytelling Festival - guest spots at "Woman's Hour" (8 - 9pm) and "Witching Hour" (10 - 11pm).

9th Feb - Flying Donkeys Storytelling Club - The VoiceBox, Forman St, Derby, 7.30pm - guest spot in the first half - main event is Mike O'Connor's "Imravoe".

18th Feb - Light Night Festival - Brewhouse Yard Museum, Nottingham, 6 - 7.30pm family stories and 7.30 - 9pm adult stories.

24th Feb - Nottingham Storytellers, Trip to Jerusalem, Nottingham, 8pm "Macabre Tales" with the Nottingham Storytellers.

28th Feb - 4th Mar - World Book Week - daytimes now fully booked with various schools covering Derby, Nottingham, Oxford and Cambridge.


MARCH 2011

1st Mar - "A Foot in the Door", Derby University, Kedleston Road site, Lecture Theatre Rm LOL1, 6.30pm - Literature & spoken word performance event.

4th / 5th Mar - "Every Child A Talker" Early Years Providers Conference, Cambridgeshire, 9am - 3pm Keynote Speaker and Workshop Leader over the two days in conjunction with Cambridgeshire Early Years & Childcare Service.

11th Mar - hosting "Beowulf" with Hugh Lupton and Rick Wilson, Quarndon Village Hall, Derbyshire, 8pm - tickets from Sophie on robandsophie@hotmail.com or Tel 01332 840007. A Quarndon Live & Local event.

12th / 13th Mar - "Tree Festival" at Kedleston Hall, National Trust, nr Quarndon, Derbyshire, 11am - 3pm - family storytelling.

26th Mar - "Macabre Tales", West Bridgford Village Hall, Nottingham, 7.30pm with the Nottingham Storytellers.

4th / 5th May - Chipping Campden Literature Festival, both days visiting schools and pre-schools in the area.

4th May - "Seven Deadly Sins" as part of the Chipping Campden Literature Festival, Eight Bells Pub, Chipping Campden, 9pm. Tickets £5 from Festival Box Office - see website or Tel 01386 840994.

21st May - "Bedside Tales" at Erewash Museum, Ilkeston, 6 - 7pm - family storytelling, with Sophie and fellow storyteller Pete Davis.

21st May - "Fireside Ghost Tales" at Erewash Museum, Ilkeston, 7.30pm - adult storytelling with Sophie and fellow storyteller Pete Davis.

28th May - "Deep within the Greenwood" - a family storytelling show at the Corn Exchange Theatre, Stamford, 2pm. Part of the Riverside Festival.

29th May - Children's Picnic, Wollaton Hall, Nottingham, 11am - 4pm with the Nottingham Storytellers (I will be there from 1pm).

16th July - Elford Hall Gardens Real Ale & Music Festival - storytelling for all ages from 3pm onwards - join us for stories, good ale, a BBQ and hog roast in the evening and music galore in the orchards and beautiful gardens of this walled garden renovation project.

23rd & 30th July - training at Nottingham Playhouse, 10am - 2pm.
